A WIDNES man could be scarred for life after a brutal attack in Warrington town centre.
The 33-year-old man was walking alone past LA Bowl when he was approached by three thugs.
One demanded that he hand over his wristwatch then, when he refused, he slashed him across his face and chest with a sharp implement.
Following the attack, the three men abandoned their victim, who later needed treatment for his injuries at Warrington Hospital and walked off towards Callands.
The incident took place on October 16 at around 1am. Police are unsure whether the weapon was a knife or a blade and are appealing to witnesses to come forward.
The attacker is aged around 22, with short, blond hair with a centre parting. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt and jeans and had a Warrington accent.
The other two men are thought to be of the same age, with short, dark hair.
Anyone with information can call Det Con Lesley Mills, of Warrington CID, on 01244 613836.
