Stockport Ladies 6 Mond Ladies 1
IN a match of two very different halves the home side took the early initiative with their prolific scorer of last season Jane Fox making no mistake early on. Mond battled back to deservedly get on level terms just before the break when Louise Dixon converted a penalty but the visitors lost all concentration in the second-half allowing Stockport to run in five more goals without reply, four from Fox.
