MARTIN Bonner's 19-darter started Greenalls off with a win in the Grappenhall Darts League tussle with GTLA.
Then their opponents went on the rampage with J. Dutton, C. Stait and J. Smith all pulling off 18-darters.
Jimmy Lee won his game for Greenalls to peg the score back to 2-3 in GTLA's favour but Vic Clarke with 22 and Dave Clarke with 26 darts made it safe for GTLA, who finished 6-3 winners.
R. Barker, 24 darts and G. Parr, 22, set Bridge on a winning start in their close-fought battle against Farmers.
J. Daniels won the next game in 21 darts for Farmers but Andy Wilks won for Bridge.
T. Mason hit back again for Farmers to make the score 3-2 to Bridge but after the break P. Nolan won his match and 70-year-old Arthur Leigh showed the younger members of his team how to play and won in 15 darts to clinch the match.
Dave Thomason won his game in an impressive 15 darts for Farmers but the match finished at 5-4 to Bridge.
Pete Daniels of ESMA drew the first game against Star's P. Marsland.
ESMA then won the next six games as S. Addison, S. Mooney and T. Horan all won in 23 darts, K. Jones struck in 24, while R. Hassell and J. Brown hit 28 darts each.
Paul Oxley won Star's game in 12 darts to make the final score 7.5-1.5 to ESMA.
Pick had a good win at Barn Owl with G. Illidge, 17, R. Ocego, 19 and T. Sheen, 26, the best for Pick.
H. Billinge, 14 and R Hill, were top men for Barn Owl and the final score was 6-3 to Pick.
Bull beat Mulberry Tree 8-1 through top marksmen Gary Sherlock, 12 and John Holt, 13.
Fleece recorded their second win of the season in fine style with an 8-1 success over Manor.
M. Leigh won in 14 darts, Bob Lee hit a 21-darter and A. Lang triumphed in 22 darts while M. Bishop won in 25 for Manor.
