Rylands...34 Albert Park...5
RYLANDS outplayed their visitors throughout this North West Counties Division Two game.
Chris Ross picked up a loose ball and ran almost the length of the field to touch down. Peter Ryder converted.
But for the remainder of the half Rylands failed to take advantage of opportunities until, after Mellor dropped a goal for Albert, Ian Ward crossed the line just before half-time.
Good ball work from Anthony Poole resulted in James Evans scoring four points and Mike Ward quickly followed this up with a converted try.
Andy Penny finished the scoring with a try, again converted by Ryder.
Best players for Rylands were Andy Garratt, Penny and Ian Ward while in the backs Peter Leonard showed his true potential.

THIS game could have gone either way for most of the first half with both teams equally matched.
Rylands pulled back an early six-point deficit after Paul Thurston slipped a lovely ball for Tony Berry to score between the posts.
But Pilkingtons grabbed tries either side of half-time to complete the scoring.
Best for Rylands in the backs were man of the match Ronnie Logan, Paul Thurston and, in the pack, Kevin Lloyd, Jeff Robinson and Paul Stubbs.
