THE mixed fortunes continued as again the Warrington women's hockey team failed to find consistant form and lost 1-3 to Buckley.
Alex Mitchell was their best player with some splendid work in defence.
It was left to the second team to gain the club's only league win, as they beat Winnington Park 3-2.
Warrington easily had the best of the first half and took a two-goal lead despite only having 10 players.
They missed a penalty flick and Winnington took advantage and broke away leaving only the goalkeeper to beat.
Warrington replied with a third goal from Katy Arber, following good work by Vikki Barber and Emma Parkin-Bowes.
A late reply from the opposition could not deny Warrington the league points. Helen Weston picked up the best player's title.
The third team travelled to Port Sunlight and conceded a goal by being late for the start.
Playing with only 10 players proved to be too much of a handicap and the final score was 4-0 despite a promising debut by Nicola Warner.
