LEAFLETS are being sent out to all council tenants explaining future options for the borough council's 11,000 homes - following furious criticism over delays.
Opposition councillors have savaged the ruling Labour group for not progressing the council house plans which could see properties transferred to a privately managed group.
But this week information is being sent to hundreds of householders, outlining the various options for housing stock transfer, which will be followed by a questionnaire. The results of the survey should be known by late January next year, ready for a November deadline set by the Government for housing transfer bids.
Tenants are being urged to contact their housing office if they are concerned about the proposals.
