LOTTERY bid leaders will have to wait another month before finding out if their case for funding for a park revamp has been successful.
Congleton Millennium Projects group has submitted a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for a grant towards the planned restoration of Congleton Park.
However the decision on the first stage of the bid has been delayed until December after the fund sought more details about the application.
If the grant is awarded next month the group, in conjunction with Congleton borough council, would put together the second stage of the bid.
