COMMUNITY care worker Doris Pearcy will jetting off to the Indian resort of Goa next after winning £5,001 on the Irish lottery.
Mrs Pearcy, who comes from Hayden Park, Biddulph, scooped the jackpot after choosing four winning numbers at Provincial Racing in Biddulph High Street.
Her success came just a month after she won another £450 on the same lottery by picking three numbers, both wins coming off stakes of only £1.
''I have been playing the Irish lottery for about 18 months, and could not believe it when I found I had won £5,000,'' said Mrs Pearcy, who works for Biddulph social services.
''I have given some to my daughter Simone, and my husband Graham and myself are planning a holiday in Goa early next year.
''It is somewhere I have always wanted to go.''
Mrs Pearcy was presented with a bouquet and bottle of champagne from Peter and Janice Wilde, who manage respectively the Provincial Racing branches in Biddulph High Street and St John's Road.
Provincial gave £100 towards the cost of a trip to Blackpool for pensioners from the luncheon club at Washington Close luncheon club, where Mrs Pearcy works part-time.
Mrs Pearcy's husband and daughter Simone both works at for electronics company Siemens at their plant in Congleton.
