SUMMER is upon us, but to stop the kids getting bored there are plenty of playschemes to keep them entertained.
The Leisure Centre leads the way in Middlewich with different activities every day and several special day trips, including a tour of the Manchester United museum, a visit to Waterworld in Hanley and a week of soccer training at Crewe Alexandra FC.

There is still time to grab a place on What Playscheme at the Wych Centre which runs every Tuesday and Thursday until August 17.
The scheme is for eight to 13-year-olds and special events include sports, face-painting, an ice skating trip and another chance to splash around at Waterworld.
