ROSSINI'S The Silken Ladder comes to Tatton Park in a brand new production by Opera Europe.
The opera, best known for its popular overture, is performed by talented young singers from all over Europe. It centres on two young lovers' midnight meetings, the bedroom balcony and, of course, the rope ladder made of silk.
And the evening promises to be better than ever with the extra bonus of a walk through the gardens and mansion house. Opera Europe is specifically geared towards young singers, providing opportunities for them to develop a career in opera.
The show is on next Wednesday, August 16. Doors open at 6pm and the opera starts at 7.15pm. Tickets cost £9 and £16 with concessions for students and under 16s and there is a family ticket for two adults and two children costing £25.
