IF the kids are beginning to bug you over the summer holiday then why not take them to a creepy-crawly spectacular.

And you could even worm your way in for free thanks to the Guardian.

We have teamed up with Vale Royal Borough Council to give away six pairs of tickets to the Millennium Bug puppet show at Winsford Civic Hall on Tuesday, August 22 at 2pm.

All you have to do is answer the following question and send it to Bug Competition, Guardian Newspapers, 15 Market Street, Northwich, CW9 5DT.

How many years are in a millennium?

The editor's decision is final and the usual Newsquest rules apply. Closing date: August 15, 2000.

The show is about Millennium Bug, a rather naughty creepy-crawly who lives in an abandoned computer in a wood.

He is joined by his friends E-Mail the Earwig, Phoebe Spider, Log On and Log Off the woodlice twins, and Willy Worm.

Unfortunately, so mischievous is Millennium Bug, that he is sent to Superbug's School for Bad Bugs.

However, all is not lost as he returns to save the wood from being destroyed by a motorway development and becomes a hero.

Tickets, costing £4 for children (adults with kids go free), are available from Wyvern House on 01606 867539.

The Brilliant Creatures show, scheduled for the Civic Hall on Saturday, August 26, has been cancelled.
