STITCHCRAFT 2000, the largest needlework exhibition of its kind in the north, takes place at G-Mex, Manchester, and we have 10 pairs of free tickets for our readers, worth more than £100.

The exhibition, from September 15 to 17, covers all aspects of needlework including embroidery, sewing, quilting, dressmaking, tapestry and much more, but not hand or machine knitting.

Visitors can try and buy all they need for a wide range of sewing crafts, including threads, kits, material, books and accessories.

Clubs, institutes and colleges will be on hand to help visitors, and there will be seminars, displays, demonstrations and workshops, providing the opportunity to learn.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 5pm each day. Admission on the door is £6 50 and £5 for concessions. Accompanied children under 16 are free. Advance tickets can be bought at £5 50 and £4 for concessions, plus one free tickets for group bookings of 10.
