CHESHIRE Ghostriders BMX Club can now boast a European champion among its members.
Shanaze Reade, pictured above with her trophy, rides for the 11 and 12-year-old girls team and recently won the award at the European Championships in Mandeure, France.
Also attending the event for the Ghostriders were Holly and Levi Ashley, Warren Bancroft, Adam Evans and Luke and Timmy Kirk.
The Ghostriders were joined by around 1,000 other riders from all across the continent.
The Ghostriders have expressed their thanks to the Millennium Festival Awards and Sport England who have given a grant of almost £5,000 to the club.
The money is to be spent on coaching and first aid as well as track improvements which will bring the site, near Queens Park, up to national standards.
