FORMER Middlewich High School student Sharon Templeman has graduated from Staffordshire University - despite the fact that she is severely deaf.
Sharon, 21, completed her degree in Sport and Leisure at Staffordshire University, with help from Student Support which provided note-takers to help with her studies.
And, not content with academic success, Sharon is now heading for success in the tennis world.
She is a member of the British Deaf Team and is looking forward to competing in tournaments around the world over the next 12 months.
She said: "Everyone at Staffordshire University has been really understanding and supportive and I would particularly like to thank Student Support."
