If her trade is as bad as she complains why doesn't she try selling clothes people could actually wear instead of the 'fancy dress outfits' that usually adorn her windows alongside peculiar items of furniture and pictures.
Surely before she opened the business she weighed up the overhead costs of running it against the possible profits, or did she anticipate by a few years the Millennium Dome?
