ANOTHER hat-trick from Knypersley CC all-rounder Neil Dutton sealed victory against Porthill Park on Saturday.
His spectacular bowling claimed 6 wickets for 13 runs and helped put them back in the championship hunt.
Earlier Knypersley were asked to bat and openers Rob Riley (69) and Ross Salmon built a solid foundation
When Salmon departed with the score on 69, Chris Barry continued the fine start and at 95 for 1, a big total was on the cards.
Suddenly the innings fell apart as Knypersley stuttered to 128 for 5, then lost the tail for the addition of 11 runs.
Chasing 140 for victory, Porthill Park were going steadily at 77 for 3 but in the space of 17 minutes the match was over.
Dutton and Rob James (3 for 14) tore through their batting line up with the hero's amazing feat of two hat-tricks in one season reducing Porthill to 78 all out.
A maximum 25 points puts Knypersley back into the title race lying just 12 points behind leaders Audley.
