A NEW two-year deal for Warrington Wolves' French international pack star Jerome Guisset is imminent.
Guisset, who joined the club for Super League V from Canberra Raiders, has proved himself as a no-nonsense, hard as nails forward with a bright future.
Wolves coach Darryl Van de Velde said: "There are a few minor details to be finalised but I am confident Jerome's re-signing will be confirmed before the end of Thursday."
Van de Velde is having talks with stand off and goal kicker Lee Briers about a new deal with the Wolves and negotiations are continuing.
Briers has already achieved a record-breaking season with the Wolves as his 221 points total for the year so far is his highest in any one campaign.
After an early season battle with Steve Blakeley for the No.6 shirt former St. Helens scrum half Briers has formed a strong partnership with skipper Allan Langer as half backs.
