DAVENHAM fell 11 runs short of Christletons total in their Meller Braggins 'ne defeat on Saturday.
Alan Wright and Paul Wright took three wickets each, and Dean Jackson two, as Christleton made 181-8.
However, it was four wickets each from Matthew Parkinson and Nick 'Connell which were instrumental in reducing Davenham to 170. Sam Shepherd scored 38, David Massey 27.
Davenham 2nds made 103-8 to draw with Christleton, who were reduced to 123-8 in their innings, William Hetherington taking 3-19, Robert Massey 2-22.
Mark Wright made 42 for Davenham and Hetherington chipped in with 16.
Davenham have a free Saturday this week.
