Two recent replies have confirmed aircraft were off track.
In the first instance their noise reading equipment had been rendered inoperative by livestock.
The latest reply stated that there had been a loss of data for three days due to technical problems with their equipment.
One wonders how many occasions their noise monitoring equipment has not recorded data.
Therefore the airport's claims last week in the Knutsford Guardian of quieter days ahead appear to be rather inaccurate and misleading, similar to many of the claims made during the second runway inquiry.
