Pop star Robbie Williams seems to like Knutsford after all - if the lyrics to a track on his new album mean anything.

Yesterday Nerys Mooney, who owns The Belle Epoque in King Street, said she wasn't surprised.

"He was always charming when he came to the restaurant and always had a good time," she said.

In fact, the track - Knutsford City Limits - seems to reject the bright lights of London and New York in favour of the small Cheshire town.

This week the Knutsford Guardian teamed up with his record company, EMI Records, to offer fans of the former Take That star the chance to win his new album, Sing When You're Winning.

We have five copies of his new CD and five T-shirts to be won.

All you have to do is answer this simple question:

What was the title of Robbie Williams' first album?

Answers on a postcard please to: Robbie Williams competition, Knutsford Guardian, The Council Offices, Toft Road, Knutsford, Cheshire. WA16 6TA.

The closing date is Monday August 28 - the day the album goes on sale at Ken Palk in Canute Place, Knutsford, and record shops throughout Britain.

The album, which features a duet with Kylie Minogue, is expected to enter the album charts at No1.

His first two solo albums Life Thru' a Lens and I've Been Expecting You went straight to the top spot.
