A THRILLING final resulted in victory for Bulls Head B's Barbara Hatton and Alan Woodall.
They had just made the final of the Veterans' pairs with a 15-14 result in the semi-final - and then went on to repeat the win by the same score in the final against Bob Brown and Fred McDowell (Legh Arms A).
Results: Semi-finals P Turner and S Broadhurst 14 (Railway), A Woodall and B Hatton 15 (Bulls Head B), M Carson and G Glover 13, Bob Brown and F McDowell 15 (Legh Arms A).
