WIDNES Past Players bowls team are playing their last match of the season tomorrow (Thursday) against Birchfield Park Sports & Social Club on Birchfield Road.
Starting at 6.30pm, all are welcome to go along and watch former players in action such as Ron Rowbottom, Brian Winstanley, Ged Smith, Joe Burke and Harry Owen.
The past players got together to form a bowls team in a bid to raise money to buy season tickets for primary schools children.
They've nearly reached their target of being able to purchase 15 season tickets and a good turnout at tomorrow's match should see them reach their goal.
