Pirates second in section two did themselves no favours in their quest for the title when they went down 5/4 to third placed Cherry Tree A team. This defeat for Pirates leaves open dated leaders Outcasts two points clear and the least they can now obtain is a share of the title. Barge Karl Pand hit his second maximum in as many weeks in helping his team to overcome Halton Maraunders 6/3 whilst Norton were able to squeeze into the top four after beating Halfway Gents 7/2.

An 8/1 victory over Castways has made Wilsons strong favourites to take the section four championship. This match produced a maximum from the losers Stephen Rowlands. Dock Lads were able to move up to third place after beating Croft Magnets 5/4 with John Antrobus finishing on 123 for the losers.

Union Tavern slipped from third to fourth after going down 6/3 to Draymen.

Second placed Albion had to come from 3/1 down against Halfway A before running out 5/4 winners. The best in this match was a 138 finish from the winners Nick Hovey and an 18 dart game from Halfway A's Neil Connor. All is now set for a showdown between the top two teams in this weeks final league fixture of the season. Taverners were able to move up to third place after beating Lion Doo Waps 5/4 with the winners Gary Johnson finishing in 18 darts. Section six leaders Grapes had an open date and this enabled Docksiders to move to the top after beating Them Lot 7/2. However Docksiders have now completed this league fixture so Grapes know only too well that they have to win this weeks final league fixture to make certain of the title. The Burma were able to move into third place after beating Halfway mixed 8/1 with Eggie Arms slipping to fourth after losing out 6/3 to Total Confusion.
