IT was a big thumb's up from everyone who went to Bridge Farm Day Nursery's 'Fun Day'.

The annual event certainly lived up to its name, drawing a big crowd of parents and children alike to the centre on Sydney Road, Crewe.

"It was really good this year," said room supervisor Paula Crozier.

"Lots of people turned out and it's just a bit of fun to get all the parents involved who can't always spend a lot of time here in the week along with other members of the community who can see what we do."

With the animals, a bouncy castle, games and the fire brigade keeping youngsters happy, parents could take a look around while enjoying the stalls and barbecue on offer.

All funds raised will go towards purchasing new toys and facilities for the nursery.

"I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved," said Paula.
