NANTWICH pupils joined those all over the borough in celebrating and commiserating over A level results.

Malbank High School was a hive of activity as pupils descended to collect their envelopes and among the top achievers were Catherine Finney who scored a remarkable five As and Robert Parkinson who got four As.

Other high fliers included Darren Edge, who scored four As and one B and Rebecca Sealey who recovered from a bout of meningitis last year to get two As and two Bs at AS level.

Simon Watts was also celebrating after scooping two As and two Bs and now plans to go on to study Aerospace Engineering.

Andrew Gorman earned three A levels and was elated after landing a job with Rolls-Royce in Crewe.
