OAKMERE registered their third win in four matches with a convincing victory over Chelford at Overdale Lane.
Batting first, the visitors started brightly, but Paul Hutchinson produced a devastating spell of 6-10 to dismiss them for just 94. Skipper Nick Talbot-Butler weighed in with 2-20.
Paul Guilford's 37 not out ensured an easy passage to victory, as Oakmere finished on 96-4.
After leading his team to the championship of Division B of the Mid-Cheshire Youth League, Oakmere Colts captain Craig Phelan kept the 2nd team title hopes alive as he inspired a six-wicket win at Chelford.
Eddie Gibson (2-22) pipped debutant David Gore (2-23) as the best bowler and John Crouchley took 2-33 as their opponents made 135-7.
Phelan struck 45 not out, batting through all 22 overs. Steve Hardman top scored with 57, Gore rounding off a good debut with 11 not out.
