NORTHWICH Cricket Club finally rediscovered their winning form on the small but difficult field of Mossley on Saturday.
The home side batted first and were pegged back to 154-7 after a good start. Captain Nick Shaw took 1-29 in 14 overs, Mark Minton 4-43.
Northwich immediately set about the target and thanks to Andrew Pickstock (32) and Ant Shaw (48) they made 156-6 in just 22 overs.
The four-wicket win and 20 points keeps them second, 10 points behind leaders Kingsley.
Northwich 2nds winning run came to an end on Saturday, despite dismissing their visitors from Mossley for just 107.
John Brunt took five wickets, Mike Rogerson four. However, this total turned out to be enough as the home side couldn't get their innings off the ground and collapsed for 79.
