WITTON Albion have struck a bargain to give Wincham Park a new identity for the new millennium.
The club has signed a healthy four-figure deal with the off-licence chain, and the ground, from the start of the 2000-2001 season, will be known as Bargain Booze Stadium.
Albion's commercial manager Brian Pritchard said: "Sponsorship of stadiums, although commonplace amongst professional clubs, is rare amongst non-league clubs.
"We're trying to look down every avenue of raising money and this is a sure fire way."
The official title of the ground will be Wincham Park in association with Bargain Booze, who have committed seven local stores to the sponsorship deal.
