MID-CHESHIRE College students were celebrating good results again this year.

Many returned to study after some time away from learning, some attending full-time, and some combining work with part-time study.

Particularly good results were gained by art and design students with 70 per cent gaining A, B or C. Maths and chemistry students gained 100 per cent pass rates for the second year running, and IT also gained 100 per cent passes. John Howard, principal, said: "I congratulate the students, many of whom have overcome personal difficulties of one kind or another to achieve success.

"All students benefit from the support of dedicated staff and many go on to gain qualifications that change their lives.

"I'm delighted with this year's results and look forward to welcoming the next intake of students in September," he added.
