I AM writing this letter aimed at the Tuesday Night Bingo Group at Woolston Leisure Centre.
My son is eight years old and for the past 18 months has been attending the Jujitsu Class at Woolston Centre, and has enjoyed his time there very much.
Imagine how upset he was to hear that Dave, the Sensei has to finish, because the Bingo Club has complained about the noise level.
They have asked Dave to change the time of his class to later, which would mean the class would not finish until approximately 9pm. I for one as a parent would not expect six to eight year-olds to stay up that late, especially when they have school the next day.
Dave is doing a very good job teaching our children self-defence. It is also somewhere for the children to go of an evening and keeps them off the streets. There is not enough places as it is for young children to go, how many times are we as parents told "Keep your kids off the streets." And now all that has to stop because of your bingo!
Obviously you have not thought what this is going to mean to the boys/girls of the class.
Would it not be possible for YOU to change your day/time and spare a thought for the youngsters, or would that be asking too much?
