BT CELLNET is building an extension to its Runcorn call centre - creating eight new jobs, it was announced this week.
Plans to add a single storey building at the back of the exisiting development were approved this week by Halton councillors.
The proposal involves the erection of a 2,178 sq m building with two electrical plant compounds to the rear, each covering an area of approximately 336 sq m.
Access for staff and visitor parking will be via the existing access off Chester Road, Preston Brook.
An extra 12 car parking spaces will be provided, plus room for cycles.
