WHAT happened to Widnes supporters?

After watching Rugby League Raw, Widnes supporters let themselves down, big time.

David Hulme did nothing wrong, but to our local fans he did.

How two-faced they are.

Hulme is a great credit to Widnes and without him we wouldn't have finished the season in eighth position, it would have been at the bottom.

Fair enough, he did swear, but it was on after the watershed and he proved he was a good coach.

The programme showed how determined he is to make the squad improve and give them some stick to make them work as a team, not as amateurs, which some people think they are.

Fans carry on at matches, like I do myself, that's ok isn't it?

So why can't the coach do it?

Without him Widnes wouldn't be anywhere and that's a fact.

He has the experience and is determined to get us in the Super League and I bet those fans who knock him now will not do it then.

If you are a true supporter of Widnes Rugby League Club, you would have been happy with the programme not disgusted.

Good luck to David and the lads next season.

Samantha Doughty.
