WIDNES Albion Bulls take on the great Britain & Ireland emerging students team that will be touring America during September in an intriguing pre-season friendly at the Widnes Rec Club, Liverpool Road, Widnes on Saturday 26th August. K.O 2.30pm
An intriguing fact is that prop forward Neil Burke will be playing against his team mates for the international team. The week after the season proper starts with a home game against Wigan St Pats for the 1st team while the A team make the short journey to Latchford for a division 6 fixture.
Training will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Leigh Rec 6.30.
Any new or old players will be more than welcome.
