KNYPERSLEY Vics went down to their third away defeat in a row on Saturday with a 4-1 hammering at Rushall Olympic.

The Vics have conceded 13 goals in the three games, and Saturday's defeat was made worse by two red cards.

The match saw the debut for the Vics for former Oldham Town keeper Terry Dolloway, who went down at the post to save well on 12 minutes.

Knypersley took a deserved lead in the 25th minute when Brownsword raced to the edge of the area before lifting the ball over the advancing keeper.

However the Vics were reduced to 10 men a minute later when Dixon was sent off for allegedly elbowing a Rushall player.

The home side made it 1-1 on 31 minutes when Round crossed for Holdcroft to sweep the ball home.

Rushall took the lead 10 minutes into the second half when Harnett, who the Vics claimed was well offside, smashed the ball into the net.

They made it 3-1 two minutes later when Swain's curling shot hit the bar, before bouncing in off unlucky Vics player Burndred.

Peake scored Rushall's fourth on 87 minutes after Dolloway could only parry a shot into his path.

Knypersley had a second player red-carded when Shallcross received a second yellow at the death.

The Vics are at Corby Town tomorrow in the FA Cup preliminary round.
