SIR John Deane's adult students have had an outstanding success in their GCSE results.
All nine students passed their exams, with grades from A to C.
A spokesman for the college said: "It is the first year the college has run GSCEs for adults and it looks as if evening classes will be as successful in future years as full time classes.
"Students have commented on how much they enjoyed the small classes, with friendly tutors who were more than willing to help."
