It is not likely that anyone will because he left in 1916 to be an Army chaplain but as he was a lively character there may be some records or stories about him.

I think he was a hunting parson and would-be poet for he wrote:

'It is not apostolic for a parson on his rounds

To be seen out walking a pair of puppy hounds'

It seems he also wrote for journals such as Horse and Hound and as PHILO in The Guardian.

An obituary noted: As an after dinner speaker Mr Greswell is par excellence. Dullness or sadness he could always scatter to the winds. His witticisms were always of the fresh and sparkling order and his fund of similis well nigh inexhaustible.
