Oefirst lady'
SANDRA Brusby has become the first woman president of the Warrington branch of the Rotary Club and is the only female president in the region.
Sandra, chief executive of Business Link, Warrington and Vale Royal, has been a Rotarian for six years.
She said: "I joined the organisation because I wanted to help my local community and to be involved in the wider work which Rotary undertakes.
"I hope that while I am president, more women will be encouraged to become members and get involved in the club's activities. It is an organisation which does a lot of good work raising money for local charities and we need more people to help."
Sandra, who lives in Penketh, is a director of Community 2000 and Progress Warrington.
