TRINITY Methodist Church had a very successful Field Day this weekend, raising a total of £3,801 for church funds.
The day started with a procession which entertained spectators along Ledward Street, School Road, Crook Lane and Station Road all the way to the Church Field.
The spectacle featured visiting Queens from across Mid Cheshire, with some excellent dancing troupes such as the Buckley Belles, the Hilltones, the Marguerites and the Mini Belles, along with Trinitys very own line dancing group.
There was also plenty to do at the field, with the numerous sideshows and stalls, while this years Sunday School Queen, Andrea Williams, Fairy Queen, Natalie Hopping, and Primary Rose Queen, Bethany Jones, were all crowned by Mrs Lois Molloy.
