I AM a Warrington lad through and through, if you cut me I would bleed Primrose and Blue. Unfortunately I missed out on Wednesday night's fantastic decision by one week, I did not return home from the US where I was working until Saturday.

Upon reading the passion shown by Mr Fearnley I found my eyes filling up as there

were know truer words spoken. If RL had been taken away from me then I would

have no real reason to return to Warrington, except to visit family of course.

Although it has been a tough year for Warrington I can honestly say that I like so many others have firmly stood by them, through thick and thin, the victories over Bradford and defeats to the like of Huddersfield and Wakefield. I would like to thank everyone at the club, the owners, directors, management and playing staff for working so hard to ensure that the existence of WRLFC remains for years to come. In particular I would

like to thank Peter Deakin for all the hard work that he has put in over the

past 12 months. The guy obviously realises just what Warrington and the

people of Warrington are all about, without him I am sure none of this would

have happened, thanks again! I look forward now to the Wigan game where I

will get my first taste of RL for three months and to once again be standing

in the Fletcher Street singing and cheering on the boys along with the best

fans in the Rugby League world.
