To date we have found nearly 250, which represents about 15 per cent of the total number that did.
Given the passage of time, there still has to be a lot more out there that 'Have Swallowed the Anchor' and forgotten all about the navy.
Their old shipmates are looking for them to join them at their fourth re-union in Birmingham in March 2001; or failing that, just to get in touch again.
