LES Miranda struck four goals in two games as Barnton climbed towards the top of the Mid-Cheshire League last week.
They blitzed leaders Linotype 3-0 last Tuesday, Miranda opening his account after 86 seconds.
The striker then added number two with an exquisite strike from 35 yards in the 22nd minute.
Mick Green scored his first of the season to complete the win, slotting in from six yards mid-way through the second half.
Barnton then completed their first double of the season, winning 5-0 at home to Grove United on Saturday.
But this match brought Miranda's second double, as he added another brace, opening the scoring by poking in Green's cross after seven minutes.
Gareth Langley hit the goal of the game, cutting inside from the right to shoot into the far corner on 26 minutes, before Barnton ran riot in the second half.
They could have had a lot more then the three they did get, through Richie Milne, his first of the season on 46 minutes.
Miranda made it four and sub John Lennon rounded it off, just two minutes after coming on.
Barnton face Middlewich Town at home in the league this Saturday (3pm).
