PERFECT LOCATION AT THE MILL POOL
OVERLOOKING the peace and tranquility of Oulton Pool, The Mill Pool is one of the area's most beautifully located restaurants.
Since opening in August 1989 owners Paul Ainsworth and Tony Puzylo have successfully worked to create a reputation for good food and fine wine, all at great value for money.
Certainly, £20 per head is usually enough to enjoy a delicious three course meal from a set menu, including drinks, wine and coffee.
Inside the restaurant, traditional and rural, yet informal surroundings help to create a perfect atmosphere for an evening out with friends or family.
It's wise to book in advance however, as the restaurant can get very busy and although both dining areas offer stunning views of the lake, you could find yourself positioned at a slightly less scenic table.
Most importantly, the food is of a high standard, impressively presented and freshly produced on the premises. Add to this the fact that the menu is changed regularly for a greater variety of choice and you're virtually ensured a first-rate meal in an impressive environment.
