BEACH babes packed up their deck chairs and towels at the end of a week-long holiday in the unlikely seaside resort of Warrington.
The event was part of the Warrington-by-the-Sea week, organised by managers at the Golden Square shopping centre, which helped to provide some end-of-summer fun by creating a traditional family seaside setting in the town centre.
The activities got off to a good start with talent shows and rides along the 'pier' courtesy of Benny the donkey and his friend.
The transformation was made complete with the help of Punch and Judy, brass bands, a children's fair and of course the all-important sand and 'sea'.
Visitors to the town centre beach resort even had the chance to send Warrington postcards to their family and friends, or to take home some seaside souvenirs like the specially-made Warrington rock.
