SUMMER sunshine brought out the crowds for Woolston Park's annual show on Sunday.
Organised by the Warrington Rangers Service, Friends of Woolston Park and Woolston District Horticultural Society, the event proved once again to be a great success.
Rangers welcomed more than 1,500 visitors to the attractions which featured a fun dog show as part of the Good Dog campaign, where trophies were awarded for pets with the most appealing eyes and the most waggly tail.
A falconry display and a nature in focus exhibition, where crowds could take a look at microscopic pond life proved to be a big hit with visitors.
Ever popular was the bouncy castle and children's fair, but it was the zoo animals visiting from Walton Park that stole the show.
Community groups from all over Warrington set up their stalls along with tombolas, quizzes and refreshments served by Woolston Women's Institute.
Senior ranger Andy Bailey said: "We were delighted that the weather was on our side for the show. Considering what it was like on Thursday and Friday we were really lucky. The whole day was a great success."
