KINDHEARTED children from Latchford are appealing for sponsors to help raise funds for little Ellie Daniels.
Ellie, of Vaudray Drive, Woolston, is still in a coma after falling into a garden pond six months ago.
A group of 30 children has organised a sponsored walk at Victoria Park on Sunday, September 24 to help provide specialist equipment for the little girl.
Organiser Diane Higham said: "Obviously, we'd like to raise as much as we possibly can for Ellie. The idea started when two teenagers approached me and said they'd like to do something to help. Once word got round it just grew from there."
Anyone aged between 11 and 18 who wants to join in can contact Diane on 0774 771 0540.
