WARRINGTON Grange women's soccer team kicked off their new season with an away trip to Brazil of Liverpool.
The squad has been boosted by the step-up to senior football of six of the club's former under 16 players but only 11 players were available for a game in which Grange gained a marvellous 12-0 victory.
A new forward line featuring Helen Sadler and Rachel Nolan proved a great success.Nolan bagged a superb eight goals and Sadler added two.
Other goals were scored by Maddie Davidson and Abigail Wynn.
The whole team played well, kept good shape and created many chances with excellent work rate throughout.
Kate Wilcock, who played left back, was given the player of the game award.
Grange can now look forward to the next game against Wigan Ladies, who have been relegated from the Premier League, on Sunday in the Extra Preliminary round of the FA Cup.
