WARRINGTON Wolves's defeat to Wigan Warriors on Sunday led to two woeful statistics - but fans are sticking with the club!
Wigan rattled up 50 points and were the first opposition to do so in a league match at Wilderspool since Salford's 50-0 success 30 years ago.
The loss was Warrington's seventh at home this season, equalling the worst home record by a Wolves team since the nine defeats in season 1968/69.
Despite this record, attendances are at record-breaking levels in Super League.
After Sunday's round 26 game, Warrington's attendances showed a rise of 32.9 per cent. A total of 89,442 fans have come through Wilderspool since the start of the Super League season.
This year Wolves have had Super League record crowds against Bradford (8,302), London (8,918), Castleford (5,915), Halifax (6,243), Hull (5,956), Leeds (6,948), St Helens (9,086), Wakefield (6,225) and Wigan (7,983 and 8,643).
