WINSFORD United found their way into the top ten of the UniBond First Division with a 3-1 win at Workington on Saturday.

Steve Shaughnessy's men are now hoping for their third league win in succession when they host Ossett Town on Saturday (3pm).

A win by more than one goal will take them above their opponents on goal difference, just as Saturday's result did.

On Tuesday, Winsford are away to Bamber Bridge in the fist group stage of the UniBond League Cup (7.30pm).

Blues have still to play in this competition, as last night (Tuesday's) home fixture with Runcorn was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
