GARY Chambers knows a good prop forward when he sees one after all, he has been packing down with them at the top level for the past 12 seasons.
The skipper and coach of Warrington Wolves Under 21s has been impressed with the club's up and coming Paul Wood, one of the star performers in the 32-0 thumping of South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Chambers said: "Paul's a good lad. I don't know whether or not I'll see a lot of him though in the Under 21s next season because he may be playing Super League.
"He's put a bit of weight on and looks strong in attack. He's going to do a good job next year."
Chambers is generally pleased with all the young players coming into his realm for next season. Many of them faced the Rabbitohs.
The Cumbrian said: "It's a good young team and hopefully all of them will be pushing for the first team.
"I thought they all did well against Sydney. They were up against an experienced team featuring lads who have played to a good standard and nilled them, so I'm pleased."
