NANTWICH Town crashed out of the Worthington Trophy as they went down 3-0 to Great Harwood Town.
The Jackson Avenue crowd saw The Dabbers go behind as early as the second minute on a swamp-like pitch which smothered Nantwich's passing game.
It was 2-0 at half time and as Nantwich pushed forward Great Harwood added a third to seal the match.
The result was a shock for Nantwich who had Jimmy Quinn and Mark Chandler pull out of the game with minor injuries and the pair are now doubtful for this Saturday.
The overall performance from both teams was poor although the goals were all well worked and finished on a heavy pitch.
David Thomas is still out for another month and so misses Saturday's match when the Dabbers entertain Curzon Ashton.
